Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold is a beautifully written love story about two people brought together by a tragedy, but in the end despite all odds, they found happiness and peace. The story revolves heavily around the racism issue, human prejudice and family drama in the Colorado in 1885.

“...he wondered if maybe just occasionally the gods designed a woman fit for a king or a prince and then gave her to an ordinary man. Maybe they did such a thing once in a while, knowing an ordinary man would treasure her more, love her better. Maybe they even let him keep her - for a while.”

A powerfully moving novel celebrating the largess and foresight of a great bygone generation. It tells a story that bears witness to a bittersweet truth: that love is worth whatever price one must pay for it. A emotional and poignant story about the dying man, Mr. Rainwater and how he changes Ella's and her son, Solly's life.
