He’s sure he’ll never fall for a man…

When it rains, it pours. After losing his prestigious job, Vlad discovers that his girlfriend has cheated on him. Angry and hurt, he’s determined to find her lover and teach him a lesson. When he finds out that her lover is bisexual, it only makes him angrier. Raised by an extremely homophobic family, Vlad is convinced he’s straight and holds nothing but contempt for people who aren’t.
But sometimes contempt and anger can turn into obsession, and then into something else entirely—something Vlad has always considered sick and wrong.

He’s sure he’ll never fall for a homophobic bully…

Sebastian is a successful English model who has always detested bullies. When a man shows up on his doorstep accusing him of sleeping with his girlfriend, Sebastian isn’t interested in being a punching bag. However, provoking a homophobic man is probably not the best idea…or the safest. But then again, Sebastian has never been good at playing it safe.

Things get a lot more complicated when Vlad has to bodyguard Sebastian. Can they stay professional?
They can’t. They bicker and fight, and they hate everything about each other.
Now if only they could figure out how to keep their hands off each other.

Warning: references to past bullying and minor character deaths, violence, homophobia, internalized homophobia, hate sex.

After I finished with Luke and Roman, I wanted to continue on this amazing series. We met Vlad in the previous book, who is Roman's head of security that got fired. Vlad seems like a wimp in front of Roman (sorry), nonetheless I know he is a dangerous man. I did enjoy this book, but knock off 1 star because Vlad is such a jerk for a big portion of the book.

Vlad is such a homophobic asshole! I wouldn't have continue reading it if he is any other type of character, but since he's a conservative Russian from who knows where, I'm giving him a chance to redeem himself in my eyes. Most of the time, he makes me want to punch him in the face, but also climb him like a tree. I guess, that's what Sebastian is feeling all the time.

Vlad got back to Roman's good grace after Roman reached out to him. He is to protect Luke, while Roman is away, not something Vlad is excited for, but he is a loyal soldier. Sebastian happened to be one of Luke's casual friend who needs protection and Luke was kind enough to pimp Vlad out, much to Vlad's annoyance. Sebastian and Vlad actually met each other previously, an altercation that ended up with Vlad's cock in Sebastian's mouth. I honestly don't understand how it can happened, but it did. Sometimes the plot can be a bit OTT, but I rolled with it. Seeing as how uncomfortable Vlad is with Sebastian around is just gold.

Sebastian and Vlad bicker all the time and half the time they will ended up banging each other. Vlad is homophobic and Sebastian just love to flirt and provoke him. They are both a bit cray cray in that sense. Is like watching a pair of hormonal teenagers or rabid dogs who can't control themselves. Is honestly embarrassing, but so much fun.

I know that Vlad drove me nuts most of the time, but I do root for him. He showed so much growth and did redeem himself in my eyes. I thought the final touch with him declaring his feelings was very touching and heartfelt. I want to burst into tears for Sebastian. He deserved all the love in the world for putting up with Vlad's bullshit.
