Review: Addicted for Now ( Addicted #2 ) by Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie

Addicted for Now by Krista Ritchie

He's addicted to booze. She's addicted to sex...staying sober is only half the battle.

No. More. Sex.

Those are the three words Lily Calloway fears the most. But Loren Hale is determined to be with Lily without enabling her dangerous compulsions. With their new living situation—sleeping in the same bed, for real, together—Lily has new battles. Like not jumping Lo’s bones every night. Not being consumed by sex and his body.

Loren plans to stay sober, to right all of his wrongs. So when someone threatens to expose Lily’s secret to her family and the public, he promises that he’ll do anything to protect her. But with old enemies surfacing, Lo has more at stake than his sobriety.

They will torment Lily until Lo breaks.

And his worst fear isn’t relapsing. He hears the end. He sees it. The one thing that could change everything. Just three words.

No. More. Us.

Lo is back from rehab and we are geared up for more of his antics and laugh out loud moments. Lily is still battling with her sex addiction with her psychologist and Lo is playing a huge role in making her better.

A female sex addict? A slut. A male sex addict? A hero.

Lily's addition is very much still a secret among her family, except for Rose, Connor and Ryke. But someone out there knew her secret and threaten to expose her. Lo and Lily are both raking their brain in trying to find this culprit.

Now that Lo is sober, I'm a little worried that he might change into someone new. Glad to see Lo is still very much himself, the asshole extraordinaire to everyone, except Lily. Ryke is now an important part of Lo's life, but he is still trying to give the guy a hard time.

"Glad to know you're still an asshole, even without the booze."
"Must be genetic."

Lo and Lily relationship is getting healthier and they are stronger than ever. Although I did find Lily kinda felt like a messed most of the time. But having all these supporting friends around make everything easier.

"That's me: the pathetic, horny girl who jumps her boyfriend and keeps on doing it when he says no. Oh my God. I'm like a rapist. I'll try to rape you every night."

I very much enjoyed Rose and Connor. They were the sensible and snobbish couple that felt responsible in looking after the weak ones, in this case Lo and Lily. Even though Rose and Lo felt like killing each other, she is still the responsible big sis who wants the best for them.

"You're made of steel. The bionic, unfeeling woman. Connor must love cuddling with your nuts and bolts."

I wonder how Connor and Rose are in bed - do they spout off anatomical parts or speak in beautiful prose?

The drama this time mainly surrounds the threat of Lily's secret coming out in the open. Will they be able to find out the culprit in time before the news is out? How will Lily's parent react if the worst is happening?
