Review: Forgotten Sins ( Sins Brothers #1 ) by Rebecca Zanetti

Forgotten Sins by Rebecca Zanetti

His Secrets Can Destroy Her

From the moment Josie laid eyes on sexy, mysterious Shane Dean, she was in love. Their desire ignited a passionate affair, and within weeks, Shane had slipped a ring on her finger. It seemed her every fantasy was coming true . . . until her new husband disappeared without a trace. Now, two years and one broken heart later, Josie is shocked by the hospital calls: Shane has been found . . . at a crime scene with no memory of how he got there.

Her Love Can Save Him

Shane can't remember the blue-eyed angel at his bedside—or who he even is—but he knows something isn't right. His hearing is razor sharp, his physical strength incredible, and the urge to protect Josie overwhelming. For powerful enemies are hunting him, and Josie is the key to discovering why. As Shane struggles to unravel his past, dangerous new truths come to light. Can he protect the only woman he's ever loved? And can Josie trust a man she thought she knew—one who carries such a deadly secret?

Love this romantic suspense with a hint of sci-fi to spice things up.

The prologue showed Shane along with his three brothers were trained in a military camp ever since he was a child. They have to be the strongest and faster to survive.

Fast forward twenty years later, Shane was found suffering from amnesia from a fight that killed two men. When they contacted his wife, Josie Dean, he found out that they were separately for two years and she was filling for divorce.

Josie and Shane got married after three weeks of barely knowing each other. They have a whirlwind romance but after two months of marriage, Shane just disappeared. Came from living with multiple foster homes, Josie dealt with loneliness and abandonment for too long, so when Shane left her, it left her heart tattered. She had been focusing on her accounting career and determined to get the new promotion at all cost, even though her life seems to be in danger with Shane back in the picture. The man simply attract danger everywhere and his past that she knew of all turned out to be lies.

Shane and his brothers were genetically engineered soldier, but just to be clear, beside of having some super sense and being an extremely good fighter, they pretty much like a normal man. They are not some sort of emotionally unavailable cyborg.

Josie and Shane's life were being targeted and they faced multiple assaults. But who are they targeting at? Josie or Shane? I had been scratching my head trying to figure out what the heck was happening. Together with Shane's brothers help, gear up for some really addictive suspense with some hot alpha males.

In the meantime, while Josie and Shane were forced to spend more time together, old sparks reignite. Shane can't believe he willingly left this wonderful woman all those years ago. Josie still love her husband, he was more open and honest to her now, but she worried he might left her again after he regain his memory.

I still didn't understand why the series was called Sins Brothers, I thought they were the Gray Brothers. The author makes me love all the brothers, Shane, Matt and Nathan, even Jory. I love their tight nit relationship and how well they worked together. Matt was the fixer, Nathan had some serious resentment on a certain woman going on. I will definitely picked up Sweet Revenge with Matt's story right now and can't wait for Nathan's.
