Review: Come Away With Me ( With Me In Seattle #1 ) by Kristen Proby

Come Away With Me by Kristen Proby

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break, so seeing yet another camera aimed at his face has him ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.

Natalie is a no nonsense girl who doesn’t do well with lies and secrets. What will happen to this new relationship when she discovers what Luke’s hiding?

This book was filled with sweetness, hotness and cheesiness. I felt totally OD'd.

The blurb, which encompassed first 10% of the book was the only interesting plot. Luke Williams, who used to be a famous actor mistaken Natalie as a paparazzi and confronted her. He then found out that she had no idea who he was and totally intrigued. They continue to have one hell of a fantastic and romantic day. Well, his was hiding his identity, but it didn't take long for it to get out. By 30% of the book, we had great sex, their first fight, some awesome grovelling and make up sex. I was only 30% and it all happened in a weekend!

Luke was a beautiful, sexy, sweet, jealous control freak. Overall, he was simply too awesome, with a dash of vulnerability. Natalie was totally likable, smart and witty with some body issue.

By 50%, I felt like I'm reading an X-rated Disney channel. There was just too much swoony moments, I kept 'Oohing' and 'Ahhing', but there isn't an actual story arc to keep me engage. No big secrets, no angst, no drama. Every conflict they had will just resolve by one of Luke's panty melting look. This couple was unbelievably sweet. I'm with Jules, I had enough of their mush.

"This is... a fairy tale."

This was highly recommended if you are looking for an adult version of fairy tale romance that don't hurt your brain.
