We are heading to Bali, which was rated the 8th world's coolest tourist attraction! On our first evening at the energetic and vibrant Kuta Town, we walked few kilometers along Kuta Street to absorb the local culture and commence our sight-seeing in the foreign place.

This is my first time going oversea, beside of Singapore. I was excited and at the same time extremely nervous as this is my first time boarding a plane after almost 15 years. Mr. B appeared nonchalant, which irked me.The flight took approximately 3 hours and we reached Ngurah Rai International Airport at 2pm. The hotel personnel said they will arrange a pick up for us. But after waiting for half an hour, we finally gave them a call and they claimed that we are not entitled for free pick up! Feeling dissapointed, we paid for cab service from the airport that cost us 55, 000 rupiah. We finally checked in at Hotel Sayang Maha Mertha, residing at the heart of Kuta. The hotel is a little rundown, but the bedding is clean. However, there is an ongoing construction right infront of our room, which make the sight unpleasant.

The Kuta beach is the most happening place in the entire Bali, whereby the entire town seems cease to sleeps. We spent the evening exploring the stretch of Kuta streets that is congested with traffic, taxis, souvenir shops, branded apparel and driver's service.
